Italian Canadian designer Claudio Cina got his start in Fashion working in his mother’s clothing boutique in Toronto, Ontario. After studying fashion and graduating from Parsons The New School of Design in New York,  Claudio moved to Italy for 5 years where he worked for Lawrence Steele in Milan and Gattinoni Couture in Rome.   He then returned to NYC and has had the opportunity to work for some of the most prestigious brands in the industry: Ralph Lauren, Marc Jacobs, Isaac Mizrahi and Kenneth Cole. He also teaches and mentors students as an ongoing adjunct faculty at The Fashion Institute of Technology and Parsons The New School of Design.

Claudio’s love for the decorative arts comes from his rich Italian heritage and upbringing. All of the prints and hand embroideries in the collection are individually hand sketched and come to life with his belief and commitment to nurture the art and craftsmanship handed down from generation to generation. It is this love for the craft that makes each piece a statement: unique, edgy, iconic and special.

In 2013, Claudio Cina was created. Each piece is individually crafted in NY with a “Made in Italy” approach, keeping atelier secrets, couture sewing techniques and embroidery alive.
